We’ve been told so many times that there’s only one possible path forward that we almost started to believe it. The Impossible Future exists to remind us otherwise: there are already so many people, in different corners of the world, imagining other futures and building the solutions we need.
We have launched Unlock the Future, the crowdfunding campaign that will let us take these stories much further.
Today the full series is free to watch across Latin America, but outside the region it’s still out of reach. To unlock it for the rest of the world, dub it into English, and keep organizing screenings and events, we launched this crowdfunding campaign. Because we want to keep inviting and inspiring people everywhere to imagine other futures.
Wait…a crowdfunding campaign for a series that’s already finished? Making it was only the first step, everything that comes next has a cost too. We chose to raise it differently, with the support of everyone who felt moved and inspired by the series, or wants to feel this way. We know it’s not easy, but if we want to imagine other ways of living, we also want to imagine (and build) other ways of funding.
We want to unlock the series the same way we made it: collectively, with the generous support of many people who believe in the power of imagination and community.
You can contribute here. You’ll find different options depending on where you are: Mercado Pago (Argentina only), PayPal and Artizen for the rest of the world. If you’re in Argentina, we know it hasn’t been easy, and since the series is already free across the region, we don’t want a financial contribution to feel like a burden.
